What's ugly about it? Except for the fact it doesn't have caller ID on the outside, I rather like the way it looks.

how come t-mobile is going to have a phone with 800/1900 ,they dont use 800 do they?

That's actually a very good question.. The 800 band is going to be nearly useless on this thing ;p

T has roaming agreement with Dobson, which is using 850/1900 as well

I don't know about T-Mobile but Tracfone sells it as "one fee" phone as opposed to their other phones that have a different fee for roaming. Tracfone, uses Cingular in our area.

The only downside for us is Motorola doesn't give any tech support for it yet because it Motorola has not officially released in USA yet, at least that is the reply I got when I contacted them about getting a spare battery.

I just got this phone as a backup phone... and because I just have an additction to buying phones. It seems like a pretty good little phone. I liked the original v60 and the v66 when they were out... this one is very similar.

Very good RF also.

Most of the time even if T-Mobile gets a handset CAPABLE of 850/1900mhz, they usually disable the 850mhz frequency (like the A630, V180, etc). It can probably be re-enabled but we won't get into that 🙂
