What's the difference(s) between the 6235i and the 6236i?

MetroPCS 35i vs. Verizon 36i.

36i tends to be more expensive, but has no AMPS as far as we know. Sites that say it has AMPS tend to be misprints.

Thanks, but costs more, does less? Thinking can't be the whole story, I've checked Nokia.com. Their "coming soon" specs say the 6236i will support AMPS, as does the 6235i.

It looks like the main difference might carriers. Here are where Nokia's spec sheets differ. Hope I caught everything...

Did what I shoulda did in the first place, wrote Nokia. Here's there reply:
