USCC??

Does anyone know if US Cellular will possibly get this phone when it comes out?? They need a few more Nokias!! 🙂

I would guess that Yes US Cellular will carry this phone..they are testing the 6255 and it should be out in feb...and we waited dearly on the 6019...so i think it should happen..i will post when they start the testing.

They are testing the 6235 currently, and the 6255 is still testing. August is a possibility for the latter.

Absolutely no new information. Last tentative release date was mid-september, which has obviously passed. My prediction is never.

the nokia 6255 is supposed to be available for order and sale mid-october.

The 6255 has not even passed testing yet, as of the september agent connections, meaning it has not passed into the "friendly user trials" phase of testing. It is in user trials generally for about another month after it passes technical testing. I'm not sure how it could possibly be in my store in two weeks, when it hasn't even gone through user trials yet and my AAE has given up on it.

So I say screw the nokia, I'm getting a blackberry! (which will be out in retail channels very soon, as I've already done blackberry training with the 7250 in hand and functioning beautifully).

hmmm and a USCC rep told me that "it's coming" with USCC. The 6155 that is... and that was just this last week!!!

Thats very true! But it is getting close in the final testing stages with USCC. That's what I understood anyhow! Hope I didn't read into it what I "wanted-to-hear"!!! I'm guilty of that at times!
