here goes again....I use to have nokia when I was with Cell One. Went over to Verizon and did the LG thang, then a moto v60s. Im due for an upgrade, and I just recently sent back a moto 325 and 815. They both sucked big time. Washed out screens, no volumne on the ear piece, sticky keys etc etc.

I purchased a 6236i for a friend as a gift, she is out of town, so I cant get any info from her regarding performance and such. Thats why I thought I would pick your brains about the Nokia. I am a tall guy with big hands and skinny fingers. It seems that the Nokia is tiny with a small joystick I'm mainly interested in the reception and call quality as I need a good phone for just making calls. I could give a shat about all the toys.

yea man, I had a lot of phones, but this one is NOKIA 6236i, the best phone ever!!! Even if its verizon its has own menu (not verizon's suck menu). for such a small phone display is amazing quality, so small and shiny! I love this phone! All my friends aroud me are saying WAW WHAT A COOL PHONE!!! Im like Yeah Babe!!! so yeah i highly recomend this phone to a NOKIA fans and not nokia fans! Very cool candy bar phone
p.s. i am sick of flip phones too!hate them!!

reception and clarity is good?....is it too small for a big dude?....those are the things Im interested in....hows the joy stick?

reception is awesome!!! clarity is 9 out of 10, because sometimes you hear some noices!!! No man, it is perfect size!!! With joy stick you do not feel comfortable for only first two days, But after second day of using the phone- you are getting used to it!!! Belief me its all good!!! NOKIA took care of it!!! Its small but smart!!! Enjoy mate.

Not to be rude or anything, but no one answered my question. I would really like to know if the price of this phone will be going down for VERIZON. Not ebay, or any other carrier. I'm sorry to be a bother, but it's just that I really need to know this.

Hi man, I honestly do not know. I think price is not going to go down. Becasue all the cell phones that Verizon have even if they are old models, they still at same price. And as you know the phones are constantly upgrade each other.
