I was just wanting to get some of you guys opinions on whether I should get Samsung P207 or the z500. Both are with Cingular and both have the same retail price.I plan on getting either one on Cingular prepaid plan.I would deeply appreciate your opinion.

I have the Z500a. I like it. The reception is great on it, but the battery life is horrible. I bought an extended battery, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I think the P207 looks like a good phone except it doesn't have a speakerphone and no changable faceplates, so if you don't need a speakerphone or care about faceplates (besides, it looks good in black anyway), then I think you should get the P207. I'm wishing now I had waited for that phone. But I went a bought the Nokia 6170b off of Ebay and am using that now. I really love that phone. I'm not sure if it is going to be offered by Cingular or not.

I'd choose the P-207. I have one and it's a great phone. It has VoiceSignal (dictate to text message, make calls, etc.) like no other phone currently has. I have also played around with the z500 and found it a little bulky and have heard the battery is short lived.

depends...
z500
-set up for ptt (launching soon)
-takes pictures, video
-speakerphone
-internal antenna
-slightly heavy and bulky
p207
-killer camera quality
-lacks speakerphone
-lightweight
-lacks ptt option
-voice dialing(no need to program a number)
-can not mute the shutter noise 👿
-style (black with chrome stands out)

I work for cing and i bought the 207 (i love it) everyone comments how nice it looks (we've sold out of both shipments we received so far)

any other questions, let me know
