Can you get the phone at retail price?
I've been calling around and the people I talk to say you can't even GET the phone without getting a plan.
Is it possible to just get the phone without getting a plan? And not have to pay $300 on ebay for it either. 😢 going $200 over the retail price sux...

You can't get it anywhere Cingular brand new right now without ordering online and signing a 2 yr. contract. No word when that will change.

I just got this phone a couple of days ago and it has not lived up to the hype, i would say go with the ericsson s710 if u want cingular's service.

I wouldnt waste the money paying full price. It is no better than the e317. The call volume is still too low and there is a hissing sound in the background. Only good thing is the very bright and crisp screen and the speech to text. But I could do without it. I just put it up for sale on ebay to get rid of it.
