i will say that i have been a cingular customer for over 5 years and this is the worst customer service has ever been. i have had some decent representatives but some of them mess things up for the next person u talk to. i have been calling since april 15th tons of calls. they sent me the wrong phone when i called to get the right one guy must have said i was an att customer and the next sales guy tried to charge me for delivery and full price for the phone. so when you call you have to make sure you explain exactly what happened and why and ask questions as of why its that much or not that much because if not you be messed up. i like cingular here in NC its good but enough is enough sometimes...( and i still didnt get the phone i wanted bu...

Which phone did you end up with? I've been trying to migrate from ATT...but I'm getting a terrible run around. Maybe they don't want my business. I really wanted the P207, but apparently I'mnot going to get it.
So, which phone did you end up with...or do you have a recommendation that I should shoot for? I am really not impressed with the selection of phones cingular offers.

😢 BOO HOO i work in migrations for Cing and it really isn't that hoard to migrate.

...but it seems that spelling IS a "hoard". 🤣

if you go to a company store and get a friendly rep(most of us are) the process will only take 10-15 min max. where are you located and whats the problem your having?
...
wow that sucks big time!! What phone did you end up getting?
...
i just typed it didnt show up hope it doesnt do it twice lol i got a stupid motorola v551 i mean really it was the only phone i sorta somewhat thought was cool. i order a cool cover for it, seems ok so far but no i am having trouble activating it now always something lol

the V551 is pretty good. a friend of mine had one.. I had the V505 and that phone was great I dropped it a million times and nothing ever happened to it... well there was a few scratches but the phone still worked perfectly.

Another guy here at work placed an order yesterday with Cingular and among the phones, he ordered 1 of the P207's. Well, they completely lost his first order and he can't get them to send him a P207. Sounds familiar huh? I'm wondering if they actually get a small percentage of orders right the first time. Anybody know?
Also interesting to note is that the rep he spoke to said that the reason they couldn't send out a P207 to him is because there was a major issue that needed to be fixed via firmware and they weren't sending any more out until they got the update. Take that for what it's worth because as we all know, it's just as likely that they were talking out of their a$$ as it is that the info is correct. lol

I didn't hear that excuse, but did hear the out of stock, only on-line ordering even if E-store is not working properly, not an upgrade phone only for new customers...all BS! There are issues with the many different customer support divisions not being on the same page and it took "escalating" to a regional sales manager to get my order pushed through. Was given car charger and data connect cable free for my troubles and waived activation fees on both phones as well...they even shipped it to me next day for free. Just do not take no for an answer and ask for the rep to escalate this to the next higher up until you get the right person. Good luck, it is worth the wait and hassle!
...
Well pretty sure we are not talking out of our a$$, most of the time the customer is to dumb to do anything right, we have over 50 million customers so pretty sure we do know how to get orders right..
...
well i am not f-ing dumb so whatever...maybe if they didnt hire people who didnt finish high school then maybe yall would do ur jobs the right way

Let's see:
1. I ordered 3 of the P207 phones and they sent 3 P777s out instead.
2. I ordered 3 cases but none of them were sent.
3. I indicated that I needed to port 3 numbers over from T-Mobile and provided then numbers/account info. None of that was on record when I called in and they gave me hassle saying it wasn't setup as a port, so there will be more work involved.
4. The website wouldn't work because it puts my zipcode into the Cincinnati area market (this is correct), but errors on checkout that the Northern KY zip is out of market for Cincinnati. (your own system isn't even consistent and I've seen PLENTY of posts from others who encountered this).
The list goes on, but it's more of the same. So no, you guys can't take an...
