Price question? Online vs. Phone order?
jdmApr 24, 2005, 3:54 PM
For those who have ordered over the phone through CS....is the price the same as the online price? Or is it different? If it is different, what is the phone order price?
...
I ordered via phone and the price was the same as the web. In fact, the representative asked me what the web price was and I told her ($79.99). I'm wondering if I could have told her $1 and gotten away with it. 🤣

Thanks. I'll try the phone route then.
Have you gotten your phone in yet? If so, what are your initial thoughts on it?

I just ordered them (3 P207 phones) yesterday. I hope to have them in my hands by the end of the week. I'll certainly be tinkering around and posting impressions, but my guess (hope) is that others will be getting them throughout the week to add more info/opinions to the few that have them now.

OK well i called and they said i cant get the P207 over the phone, how did you?!?! I want to get it without an agreement and pay full price. What do I do? What number did you call specifically?
...
Well it's easy really, you just call them on the phone (because the web site doesn't work right), order the P207, and they randomly select a different phone to send you and they don't even notify you. It's just that easy!!! Now sometimes you might get screwed (someone else here got a c207 instead) or sometimes you hit the jackpot like me (they sent 3 of the P777's instead for the same price of $79) Play Cingular Roulette and enjoy!!!
(Offer not valid with any other carrier because they probably have actual trained staff that would get your order right. Offer not valid in all states. Caution: filling may be hot. Always wear your seat belt.)

you can't order a phone retail from the site.. you do that in the stores. the site/phone number is for new activations.
as far as web/phone prices, they confirm it by visitin the site. (it's different for different areas of the country) try typing the zip for nyc, then the zip for cali... you'll see two totally different prices...
