Well it should work since att and cingular have joined...more than likely depending on how old your phone is you will need a new sim card anyway...(hint: ebay shhhh) lol

This phone is not unlocked and will only work with a Cingular sim card. You would need to switch your whole family plan over to cingular in order to use the P207 as it comes. You could always get the phone unlocked though.

The phone is locked..You might be able to find an unlock code online perhaps. If you try to put your AT&T sim in that phone it will ask you a subsidy code.

You may want to consider migrating your line over to the Cingular billing system. If your are on a family plan tho you will have to migrate all lines if you want all lines to remain on a family plan.

Buying a new sim card would not help.
