V551 How to turn on Speaker?

That instruction booklet lead me to believe that the V551 has a way to turn the speaker on, but it refers to a speaker key but I cannot find a speaker key. Does anyone know what key they are talking about or how to turn the speak on?

The speakerphone 'button' is a soft button that appears at the bottom right of the screen when the phone is dialing. You have to be either connecting to a call or connected for this 'soft button' to appear'. It's also documented in the manual.
