Samsung SGH-P777

I just purchased Samsung P777 yesterday. I bought this phone for its multifuntional capabilities: 1.3 mp camera, camcorder, and especially MP3 player.

However, after installing the included easy studio file manager, I found out that the software does not recognize my phone.

When I open the file manager, it indicates "offline" on the lower left corner of the screen. I uninstalled and installed the software and also diabled virus programs and rebooted computer time after time, and yet it would keep on saying "offline"

I called samsung customer service and talked to level 2 support tech. However, he could not solve the software problem. He said he would get back to me with solution, but he has not. He kept on saying that it is caused by the different configurations of compuer not by the error in the software.

Can anyone help me with this issue? There is no need for me keep this one if I can't used MP3 player. Thanks in advance.
