image quality and transfers

Anyone have experience yet with image quality from the built-in camera? It's the main feature I'm after. I heard images look good on screen, but not once transferred to a computer. Also, if anyone has experience transferring images, I'd like to hear about it. Is the software required, or can you do a straight USB connection (like a small USB thumb drive) that just mounts on your desktop? I'm on a Mac, so Windows software connection won't work. Thanks!

the image quality is good for a camera phone. it's is (in my opinion) better than the 7610, but if you really like a GOOD camera, then go for something like the sony ericsson s710a or s700i (or the mitsubishi m900), I liked the s700i better cuz it has fm radio and I will hardly ever use the wap service through edge on the s710a anyways. as for transfering image, the phone comes with easy studio, and a usb so yes you do need a software application...as for whether or not it will work on Mac, I really don't know...but all i Know is that if you are moving from a phone with .3 or .1 megapixel, you wont be disappointed.
