First impressions with the T-650.

Hello all. This is my second post. I've been lurking around here for the past month while waiting for Cingular to make the T-650 availble to us. Now I have one and can see what all the fuss is about. It's great! The T-650 is my first cell/PDA convergence device. I'm retired and bought this primarily to have a cell/camera phone with a great calender along with mobile web and AOL e-mail access. Here is my 1 week impressions of the Treo 650:

1) I just love the large and bright screen. Having come from an Audiovox 8900 with a much smaller and dimmer screen, this is really nice. I have the power "auto off" set for 3 minutes and shut it off manualy when I'm through. This gives me the best of both worlds. If I get distracted for...

Good review. I have had mine since Sunday evening and also switched from Verizon to Cingular. I have had no reception problems in the Phoenix area with the exception of a couple of echoes.

I am curious if you know the difference between an MMC and an SD card and if one or the other is better to use with the Treo. It seems the MMC cards are a little more expensive but not much.

I have not had much time to configure my phone yet and have been frustrated moving applications from my old PDA by the lack of available memory in the Treo. I have locked it up 3-4 times.

I have the same issue with the speaker volume. My wife got one at the same time and it seems she has to talk pretty loudly for me to hear her well.
