Palm Treo 650 (GSM)
Verizon Availability???
I just called the Verizon store in Palo Alto, CA and they say it's coming out in the first week of February 2005. I also spoke to the representatives at the Mountain View store and they said "at the beginning of the year." I called customer service to confirm but it's not in their new product placements. Can anybody confirm this information? Thanks! :-)

Nope, but I can confirm that Verizon sucks. The coverage is very stable but they don't provide the phone technology to be able to use their self proclaimed 5 star networks and so forth. It is like putting a 90 year old behind the wheel of a ferrari. The ferrari represents their superb network, the 90 year old represents the technology that they choose to for us to access service. The result; the full potential of the ferrari can never be realized. The solution, take the hit and switch to sprint or wait until your 90 years old for Verizon to offer a phone that is worthy of the phone saavy customers that are locked into a 2 year agreement.
