I thought there was an FCC mandate that all new phones are required to have E911/GPS capability now.
None of the Treo specs I've read say anything about built-in GPS capability. Am I missing something, or are the Treos?

The FCC requires that all new phones be E911 compliant, but that does not mean that the phone is a GPS handset. Many of the phones can meet the FCC requirements without having integrated GPS technology. It is based on their proximity to the cell site location, and calculated mathematically.
