Is it good to soft reset my phone daily?

Unless the phone locks up there is no reason to reset it at all. why would you want to reset it daily?

Forgive me; I'm kidna new to PDA phones. It's not that I want to, I had to. My recent replacement works better now, but I just wanted to know for future reference. Thanks for the help.
