quick questions befor i buy

iam thinking about getting a treo 650 for my wife from ebay, but the auctions are going off soon , so let me ask a few questions
1= can you some how shut off the touch screen and use the just key board??
2= can you check email on the treos like you can with a windows base PDA, like SBC YAHOO
3= hows the camera??
4= can you also view websites like the windows based units??
i cant think of anything else right now but suggestion are welcome!!! thanks

My experience says you need to see the screen to use the 5 way(where you're at). Yahoo is one of the supported servers. Hotmail and MSN not. camara not bad. Does have web surf capabilities(screen is kind of small for that). I've really liked how it syncs up with Outlook. Really helps production.

The Treo 650 is a good business tool for me. The calendar (having it at my finger tips) is very helpful. Having contacts, email addresses, etc. helps me with my job. The 650 is a very stong PDA. It is, however, a poor phone. I am on the phone often throughout the day and the battery is drained before I go home. The speaker volume is low and sound comes through not very clear. I tried switching to a regular non PDA phone, but could not function without my PDA. I have several email accounts syncd to the Treo. Camera is ok. Web usage is not possible... too darn slow. The Treo 650 is rugged. I have dropped it many times and it has never broke. (knock on wood)

In a nut shell... good PDA, but a poor phone. I am hoping for stron...
