I am on Sprint PCS on a regular phone. Through a warranty swap I can get a new Treo 650. I need a good phone but a pda also would be nice. How is this model (650)? Should I make the move and get the 650 or wait until I can afford the newer 700P or 700WX? Please any input-Thanks-George

My Treo 650 was recently upgraded to a 700p thru insurance. 650 was a good PDA, but a bad phone. I have had the 700p less then a week, but I have noticed better sound quality and faster speeds accessing the web. (it was virtually impossible to access the web on the 650) A few simple NEW features to the 700p are welcomed.

The 700p is a good PDA and a better phone then the 650.

Hope this info helps.

I'll have to agree. I have a 650 (with Verizon) and would kill to have a 700p for the same reasons. I'm not too sure about the 700wx, but the 700 does give more memory, 1.3 megapixel camera/video, and about 60mb of memory. I surely intend to get a 700p when I can afford it (or if I have another bad 650 and Verizon decides to have mercy on me and upgrade me {not holdig my breath on that one}).

Still got my 650 and not I have a Treo 700w in addition. It's great and definitely not as bad as peopel say (remember: no phone is perfect because it's made by machines that are made by humans). It just comes down to wich format you want: Palm or Windows. I have both and coudln't be happier. If Blackberry can make a CDMA phone w/ Camera, Video & Mp3 or even radio, I'll get that one too.
