I learned from a reliable today that Verizon will be making the Treo 650 available for shipping the first week and May.

what's your source? we've heard these rumors over and over... and so far none have proven true. would like to believe you, but can't you offer any more details about where this came from or provide a link?

ditto everything bostonphone said and asked, but throw in the question of whether or not it has evdo. Everyone's saying it won't have it, but w/o citing any source usually. Since you were KIND OF right before (on the 4/4 "launch" date), I'm inclined to think there's more credibility in what you're saying, intheknow. he was not correct on april 4th date... it was NOT launched then... and I've called that website about placing a preorder and they say they are NOT taking preorders and the web site department just has not corrected the website yet. so the info was NOT accurate.
it would be nice if the phone was coming soon though... but we'll see. i know people leaving verizon or signing up with cingulair all the time because of this issue of them coming out with phones late.

I heard from a verizon rep at the store in Westfarms Mall, CT that it would be out by the end of the month. He mentioned 3-4 week, but also mentioned beginning of May for the very latest. We'll see. âšī¸

For what it's worth, someone in another forum said this about that company:
"Younevercall.com is the same company as inphonic.com which is the same as wirefly.com. If you click on certain parts of the site, it will redirect you to one of their parent sites. I've read so many things on how bad this company is (selling used equipment as new, not fulfilling orders, false advertisement and fraudulent charges). Somebody even posted somewhere that they keep changing their name because their prior names have terrible reputations. You shouldn't pre-order from them. See for yourselves the reviews for the other sites: inphonic.com and wirefly.com."
