Video ringtones on the 5600

I am trying to use my 5600 USB connection to upload ringtones. I know the 5600 is not set up to do this in a straighforward manner, and that I am supposed to save audio files as m4a files, send them through focus (or other sites) so that I can download them into my phone. But I live in an area (Alaska) that does not support the PCS Vision features of my plan (that I am paying for). So, I can't do this.

I understand the video ringtone feature of the 5600 may be a way around having to upload m4a files. Apparently, any file I can save as a 3g2 file is supposed to be available to the 5600 as a ringtone. There are many conversion programs out there that convert MP3, MP4, WAV and many other formats to 3g2. After converting my MP3 I have followe...

3gupload!! First get an account they are pretty cheap. Then go to your 3glocker upload the personal file. They will convert the file for you. Then log on to vision. Go there URL(they will give you and address) and upload to your phone. It was the only way i could get mine to work! M
