Video ringtones on the 5600

I am trying to use my 5600 USB connection to upload ringtones. I know the 5600 is not set up to do this in a straightforward manner, and that I am supposed to save audio files as m4a files, send them through focus (or other sites) so that I can download them into my phone. But I live in an area (Alaska) that does not support the PCS Vision features of my plan (that I am paying for). So, I can't do this.

I understand the video ringtone feature of the 5600 may be a way around having to upload m4a files. Apparently, any file I can save as a 3g2 file is supposed to be available to the 5600 as a ringtone. There are many conversion programs out there that convert MP3, MP4, WAV and many other formats to 3g2. After converting my MP3 I have follow...
