Sanyo 5600 Returned :(

Just wanted to drop a thread to try and help out future owners of this phone. I have literally owned every sprint phone that has been offered in the past five years. I love me some Sanyos; however, I must say I was very disappointed with the cheap appearance and sqeaky hinge. As for performance, this phone rocked, I loved everything on the interior. As for me my cell phone has to not only perform well, but look good and the 5600 was just blah! For the money spent I just wan't satistied and now I am waiting on my new LG 535. 😁 Peace out!

OMG.
Why do you post this jibberish.
Who cares what the hell it looks like!?
It's a phone for christ sake....not a Mercedes.

If you're worried about your phone as a status symbol...then you better go back to school and get a real job.

Well first of all, I have a job as a Federal Law enforcement officer and I have an education as well, I was just stating the facts that the phone was cheaply made and that Sanyo could have done better for the money. Some people do care what there cell phone looks like. I gave the phone it's props were they were due.

LOL.
Ok...fine I like the fact that you DID say that you liked the phone inside. I don't agree with the workmanship...it is excellent. Maybe you had a lemon...I have no sqeaky hinges. So what kind of federal law enforcment officer are you. This is right down my alley...FBI? Drug enforcement? Postal inspector? Marshal's service? Bureau of Prisons? IRS? ATF? Customs? Naturalizations? Secret Service? trash collections and trash inspections? LOL! 😁
no matter which agency..you are a kid and that's quite obvious.

If I were to have my choice in the list I gave... it would be a Marshell in K.C...
😁
I love Kansas City.

It's a good District. I think we have the coolest badge in the federal level. I love my Star.

Actually the hinge is a solid design and should be less prone to breaking compared to the normal Sanyo hinge. Also, I rather like the appearance of the 5600 but that's personal preference. Don't go saying it's a cheaply made phone when you simply don't like the look of the phone.

Whatever......I think my opinion about the Sanyo 5600 is just that my opinion. I told it like I saw it and I think the information will be helpful to future phone buyers. May initial entry was told from my personal experience with the phone. Compared to other phones in that price range the 5600 looks cheap. 😁

My hinge squeaks really bad too. I also just had my headset jack stop working. The sprint store is ordering me a new phone. Hopefully that one will be better.

Well i must say i love the 5600, my hinge squeaks too. But get over it!! nothings perfect, as for the look i must say who cares. I mean come on the law enforcement dirve ford crown victorias. REALLY driving in style!! haha. But than again it's a powerfull car. my point is it whats inside that counts and besides the hinge the phone is awesome. Me personally i'm waiting for the mm-9000 which is the upgrade to this phone. And should be released sometime in the 4th quarter.
By the way stay away from the LG's, i return more LG's than all the other brands combined.

Gotta tell you, I was also a victim of the squeaky hinge, but swapped mine out at my local Sprint store and this one is fine. If you returned it becuase it was ugly and decided an LG was gonna be better off, that's your own mistake...
