I believe that message is supposed to be there on your phone the entire time you're connected. I connect my phone to the PC regularly. Each time, that message comes up and stays there until I finish my transfer and then kill the connection using Windows' USB device management menu. Have you tried going to "my computer" and looking for your phone on the drives list while that message is there?

I think I tried that once before but really didn't know what I was looking for in "my computer". Once I return to my home I will check that & let you know how that works. Thanks for the reply!!!!! 😁
