Easy way to get 3gp
OK ya'll... I got the best way out... It's called "Multimedia Converter Pro" It's meant for nokia phones it seems but works amazing on the Sanyo 5600... I have put a couple simpsons episodes and other card on my new 1 gb mini sd card, we got one in to test out and all and well i'm the geek so I got to do it and i'm keeping it, haha... I got like 5 simpsons episodes, some friends, some mythbusters, and a stupid kids show for the cousins to shut them up at family parties, plus a good 50 or so songs... It's amazing.. But get that program, works good and really quick for the size of the files... I"ll try to get the website I downloaded it from, but no promises.. I forgot to write it down, but I'll look back in my history... Hope this helps... I'...

then click on save to your hard drive, open the folder 3gp converter, then open it again, then click on setup, (if you have windows xp sp2 click on run), the program will appear,then at the bottom of the program change language to English , then at the top of the program you'll see a lot of options click on general: 3gpp + ACC general setting, then apply, then on options change to QCIF NORMAL QUALITY 15 FPS MONO, then choose a output directory for your 3gp movies by clicking the select button . after that you are ready to go...

Yeah great idea... but this one you dont need to do all that crap, everything is done for you and all you need to do is hit convert... seems a little easier to me... but that is just me

It DOESNT take a bunch of steps and the video quality is quite nice. Once you set it for the video format you want to use and a default destination folder you literally just drag files to the white space in the main window. I have Episodes of the Chappelle Show, The Incredibly Movie, South Park and some smaller vids on my card. All done in no time at all. Not sayin the nokia one doesn't work. This one does SEVERAL formats and even makes quick work of videos for my PDA too. 😁

i vouch fer this one, although my phone wouldn't detect the video that it made. so i ran it through a seperate time in QTPRO and it worked great, dunno why. Got 50 cent- candyshop on my phone. i wanna get a GB card, but everywhere and their mom is sold out. or not available.

It's a sandisk, nothing wrong with it... I work at bestbuy and we got one in to test, I got to use it cause I'm the only one that can use it... I dont know release date for inside bestbuy but sprint already has them on the webpage...

Okay, I must be really retarded. I've used the multimedia converter, got my 3gp file, transferred it to my miniSD card but when I browse through the miniSD files from my phone to watch it there is nothing there??? Help!!

Make sure you have created the right folders on your phone. Place the video in the multimedia folder.

I placed the 3gp file into the multimedia folder....and then I tried the video folder and both were no-go.
