I have a 512MB Crucial miniSD card for my 5600 and it works fine. Though I'm sure others are basically the same. Mine came with the SD adapter too and cost roughly $60-70. They didn't have a 1GB available, though I see them on Sprint's accessories website now.

I have found a places called newegg that sells a 512mb card for $41.91. It's made by Ridata. That's a great price for this type of memory. I will provide a link... I just ordered mine...
