Glad you got it Diesel... Isn't the phone freakin amazing... I Can't get over the clearity in the speaker phone and ready link... I usualy get a new phone every month and screw it, no more phones, i'm done with it... This is going to be a great phone for a good 6 to 12 months, till that new sanyo comes to america that is in Japan, forget what it's called but it looks amazing, I want it, haha... I'm a phone geek if you haven't realized...

last week! It is pretty awesome, but in a way, I feel slightly deceived. Here are my beefs and let me know if there are workarounds.

1) I was expecting a slot for an SD card!! NOT a miniSD card!! Yikes! I'd purchased several SD cards lately on the cheap thinking I'd be able to just shove a ton of stuff in there.

2) My BIGGEST Beef, and the point where I feel somewhat deceived.

I thought you could download/make your OWN ringers, say from your own desktop and download to the phone, not have to go to their selected site and download MP3 songs, that a) you have to pay $2.50 for and b) they expire after 90 days!! That's a big gyp in my opinion!

Anyone else know of any workarounds? Can I perhaps film "black space" with the MP3 file pla...

Do a search for Ringers in this Forum. You'll find some interesting things. MP4's (M4A) work great as ringers and the ones you make using the tools listed in this forum will sound louder than anything you could Download...plus they'll be truly personal! 😉

is that right? MP4s? Previously never heard of them! I'll look around and see what I can find regarding making those!

Thanks a lot, khariton! 😁

Hey Diesel... The Service plan I dont know.. It's a good coverage and all but it's kinda shaky... You have to go through the bestbuy 1800 #... We get a lot of complants that people dont get the best customer service... I think with this phone it's a good idea...I got it on mine so... Just if something happens to the phone it is a bit of a hassle... And I'd say they wont send out the same phone to you cause of how how end this phone is.

i got the psp from bestbuy, the sprint insurance is going to cost you more in the long run, but then again it's always going to cover everything... Where as bestbuy doesn't cover the physical damage or theft... So if you got the money get the sprint one, if you dont wnat to spend umm I think 5 a month for 2 years or however long you want it, then get bestbuy and just dont lose it or run it over with a car.. It really just depends on your money situation and how careless you think you will be.
The PSP is the Service Plan, just got off work still talking in bestbuy lingo! haha...

Now the Best Buy Mobile Service plan does cover damage.

In fact it covers everything except fire, full submersion and theft. Without a deductible. And with a free battery replacement for 6.99/month
