If you are dropping calls and have full signal, this is likely due to a sensitivity issue in the CDMA radio. depending on how close together in series with the last phone that you had, it could be a bad batch of phones. this is because, when semiconductors are purchased, it is usually in bulk, and they are made in batches, alot of time you can get thousands of them from one sheet of silicon. If there is a defect in one, there is likely a defect in the rest. Or you could just be having bad luck. I love the performance of my 7400, all except for the crappy hinge that cracked within two months. But I will be keeping this phone indefinitely, which is odd, because i usually change phones monthly, i like to keep it fresh.
