Well Sprint and/or Sanyo is supposed to give you a full 1 year warranty on defective equipment. If you bring it to a Sprint store perhaps they can help you further. You must prove to them that this has not occurred as a result of any kind of abuse. Also provide your receipt if necessary. If they find this as a result of a defect, they will ship you out a replacement, usually probably a week or so, but if you have any insurance they will get it to you much sooner (1-2 days even?), and they will cover it regardless of reason, but you would then have to pay the required deductible. Either way, you will receive a refurbished unit, not a new replacement. Alternatively, if you have the cash you could buy a new phone outright, sell the other one on a service like eBay and expect to get at least in the $100 range (even with the crack, most likely!), as these phones are going for at least $200 or more.
