will this phone work well in the US?

I currently am a subscriber to Cingular and I'm not sure if this phone has proven itself in the US.

If I ordered this phone unlocked, would it be as simple as exchanging my SIM card to this phone to get it working?

IT would be the same but the thing is you would need to reconfig. the settings for the internet and mms..
Other then that it's a really good phone..
I actually bought that phone for ma sister for T-mobile and it works great!
