WOW! It's about time this phone shows up on here. I thought I saw a picture of it somewhere else but it had a different design. Maybe not. Any word no wether they updated its OS to Windows Mobile 5? This phone is bootylicious! It's got junk in the trunk.

The upgrade to the i860. It has BT, WiDEN, MP3 Player with dedicated front control keys, QVGA Screen, TransFlash Card Slot and a 1.3PM Camera. The phone is HOT! If not out before the end of the year it should be out Q1 of 2006. Go to www.ideninsider.com and search there. You will find lots of pictures.

Yeah this phone is going to run Windows Mobile 2003 SE but Sprint might offer an upgrade to Windows Mobile 5.0 later this year. This phone should have been out last year but I know how many bugs Windows phones have because I had an Mpx220. And this is not going to be the iDEN flagship phone...just another high priced wannabe. The i870 blows this phone out with a better camera 1.3 vs VGA...bluetooth...off network PTT..and I know it will not have as many bugs as the i930 will.

Will the i870 also have Windows Mobile? I have had some experience with WM and it's not bad at all. One thing I wonder is whether this phone or the i870 will have a touch screen and a stylus. Trying to navigate around WM with arrow keys will render it nearly useless for EMail or most other functions that require moving around. Also, do you think the i870 will have GSM or not?
