WELL... I am buying my first phone and it has to be from verizonwireless and i am choosing between this phone and the KX414 and was wondering if anybody had anymore info on the K404 I only have about$100 to spend and need to know how much this costs ( i already know the price of the KX414) i would greatly appriceate anybody replying

I think the 414 may have been discontinued. It's not on the website. Either way, go with the 404 since it's newer and updated.
Also, you may want these phones, but im looking right now @ VZW and they have 9 phones under $100

Keep in mind that even though this model is "replacing" the 414 in Verizon's inventory, it's actually a lower-end phone, with fewer features than the 414. No browser, no BREW (Get It Now).

Yeah, I'd stay away from this toad of a phone. Kyo's low-end phones have been pretty bad lately. Buy the most feature-packed phone you can, you'll be happier in the long run. For less than $100, you'll be looking at things like the Nokia 3589i, Nokia 6015i, LG 3200, Samsung A650. There's a great sale on the Audiovox 8910 & 9900, but only until Monday. $50 for either one is an awesome deal, especially for the 9900. It's a solid phone, feels VERY well-built.
