Kyocera K404

I had a Kyocera 2235 (i think) and it finally died so I had to get a replacement. This phone seemed ok but i don't think the reception is that clear. I run a business off of my cell phone and the other phone was so clear that nobody knew they were calling a cell phone. This one is scratchy and sounds all digital sometimes. Anyone else noticing this? I am thinking of trading it in.
