isn't the point of text messaging so your not loud, or can do it in a quite place? hmm.. how would that work with VOICE dailing

Voice dialing is for dialing phone numbers and calling people. That's why they call it it voice dialing. 😉

Text messaging is a whole different thing. What you're suggesting is full voice recognition and dictation, which no phone has (yet). That kind of thing requires more processor power than you'll find in most phones.

Anyway, this is not a good phone for text messaging, but it does have it. You choose letters using the scroll wheel, but it's not as tedious as it sounds. It uses unique predictive text software to make it semi-intelligent.

The way it works is: you choose the first letter of the word, then for the next letter, you're only presented with the letters that could come next to form a real word. Then for the t...

Do you think it will allow you to "spell" words? I know that some existing voice recognition software for phones let you recite phone numbers so you don't have to physically dial while driving.
