The ringtones are loud. I have had the MDA (just sold it) and I now own the 71oo series blackberry. 2 words-Great Phone!
I needed email, and all though the MDA could do this it was subpar to the blackberry. It is very difficult to make calls 1 handed. Even with voice command it is still difficult or unpleasant to operate. Go for the BB and it's cheaper.
