I'm trying to decide whether to buy this phone or the Samsung D307. I was wondering how charges are incurred when checking e-mail. Since I have AOL, does it check/foawrd the mail for free or does it charge me per KB. Thanks

If you buy the 7100g, then you will have a BB data plan where you can choose 4MB per month for $34.99 /month with a voice plan or unlimited BB plan for $44.99/per month and your AOL mail can be set up on BIS to forward to your 7100g. If you plan on using IM on the BB, then it uses data and would come out of the BB plan that you have set up with your account.

If you purchase the Samsung D-307, then you will need to sign up for one of the media bundles or a la carte. When you check your AOL, you would go to Media Net and it would charge per kb if you don't have a media net package or a la carte. Since using AIM, Yahoo Messenger, etc, charges you by the text message on the D-307, you'll need text messages as well if you plan to text or us...
