Thanks, aschwebbie!

Were you a T-Mobile customer previously, and if so, how's the signal quality on the 7100?

Also, is the web browsing for everyday pages, or only those optimized for cell phones?

Thanks again! ๐Ÿ˜

I was a T mobile customer. They charged me the $299.00 plus a $35.00 upgrade fee.

It comes with some pages already listed. I haven't found any that I am having trouble with. The phone guy at T-mobile said Bank of America's website would not load. I think that may be because it is some type of secure site - not sure.

I have had Blackberry's before, they seem to do most things right. The signal strength is better than my HP6315 and the bluetooth connection is a million times clearer.

Whoa, they charged you full price, plus an upgrade fee? Were you still under contract?

Maybe it depends on the kiosk (or perhaps its this particular deal), but I've had them tell me I can take advantage of rebates if I upgrade my plan and sign onto a new contract (mine expired).

Good to hear about the bluetooth. I'm on a Sony Ericsson t68i, and it's really hard to find something it does great anymore. It was decent at the time...

The upgrade program is dependent on how long since your last upgrade and/or initial phone purchase, and what monthly rate plan you currently are on.

At least 1 year since last upgrade and on $39.99 and higher, you get same as new customer pricing, including rebates.

The device is great, beats the HP6315 hands down. It has taken me some time to get used to the typing coming from the 7230, but it is awesome overall. For the price you cannot beat it.

I just switched from Verizon (plus a seperate 950 rim from aether) and got it for $100 minus a $100 rebate=Yes $0 with a waived activation from venicom...

Free 7100t, and i replace a phone and seperate blackberry plan to save $60/month!!!

(Allthough I miss the flawless reception and coverage of Verizon, but they can't compete with a 7100t)

Could you please share your experience between your new BB 7100 and the HP6315. I had an HP6315 that I finally gave up and sold it after 4 weeks of use, too much frustration with it, then I purchase a Rzr V3, of course the lack of the PDA is killing me but I don't want to make another mistake buying something similar to the iPaq. Any info will be greatly apprecited

That is how the BB switches from in-holster to out-holster profiles.

I haven't noticed a problem with the battery. It seems to be running normal without spiking.

Hi,
How is the earpiece volume on the 7100? Currently I have a Nokia 6200 and I canโ€™t the callers very well when I am outside in the busy downtown area?
