I've transferred songs onto my miniSD card and now my phone is saying "no music file found" I know i've added the songs to the card properly because i was able to access them from a second computer. does anyone have a clue why it won't work?? Audiovox and Verizon have been useless so far. HELP!!

The only way I could get the phone to recognize MP3s is by starting the name of each with "MP3" and ending the name of each with ".MP3".

Example:
MP3 GDay01 American Idiot.mp3
MP3 GDay02 Jesus of Suburb.mp3

Once you put songs named with this format into the MP3 folder on the SD card and turn your phone back on, it should recognize the MP3s.

If anybody else knows of a shorter naming convention that works, I'd like to know about it too.
Thanks!

I do not have this phone... But...

Try This:

1. Format the miniSD card on your computer...

2. But the blank miniSD card into the phone...

3. Turn the phone OFF then back on...

4. During "boot" the phone should create a folder that contains PIX, FLIX and MP3 sub-folders folders...

5. Remove the miniSD card and but it in you computer and copy your MP3s to the MP3 folder...

6. Put the card back in the phone... Reboot the phone...

7. You should be "GOOD TO GO"...

The solution is much simpler than what people posted. All you have to do is reboot your phone with the SD card in it. This happened to me. You do not need to rename files or format anything!!!!

I had the same problem. What I did was very simple:

On your phone (with the SD card inserted) - go into the "media gallery" and select "pix". While your list of pictures is on the screen, push the "menu" softkey. The menu that pops up should have an option to "move to SD card." When I moved a picture to the card, it automatically created all the folders I needed for mp3, pix, and flix. Then, I put the SD card back into my computer and copied my mp3's to the mp3 folder with whatever file name I wanted. Hope this helps.
