internationally capable??

im going to be in australia for 5 months and didnt know if i could use my s710a there with an australian sim card? or any recommendations?

Well it is internationally capable to a point. It only supports the 1800 frequency for out of the USA use. Visit this website for more info on coverage area. Telstra, Singtel, and Vodafone still operate some GSM 900/1800 networks so you'll probably want to hook up with one of them but be aware that your coverage might not be available eveywhere because they use 900 AND 1800. Hopefully 1800 is more prevalent... Also be sure to get your phone unlocked before you cancel with cingular(if you still have it). DONT tell them your cancelling, but that your going out of town on vacation or something....
