scrambled screen? help.

ok so i really love this phone and i dont want to have to give it up especially since the phone is discontinued and ill get the new version which isnt as good. but recently my screen with become really scrambled like a stolen cable tv channel. then when you click a menu or something the scrambledness splits into a vertical half of the screen and everything on the other half goes pink and hazy. it slants. really weird. and it eventually goes back to normal however for like 6 hours after the phone goes back to normal the clock sticks at 1200 and you cant change it. and when you call people it will show it in the last dialed at the time. then when the clock starts working again every thing you did when it wasnt working is gone. so if you...

what is the new version of this phone, if we need to do an exchange, what do they give us?

the w600i. its the orange one. i think the screen is smaller and it doesnt have a memory card. people that had this phone seemed to be upset when they had to change to the other phone because it didnt have as many features, or sony gave some features up for others. i dont know if its that big a deal i just really like my s710a.

I just did an XBM thorough cingular and I got a s710a back, not a w600. Im sure they still have some s710's in stock. It's usualy like 4 or 5 months after a phone is disocontinued that they stop sending the same model because they send refub replacements.

i did mines through lockline and they said i'd be getting a s710 to replace my s710. but 5 days later i dot a w600i so i called and they said they had no more and aren't getting them back. 😳

so i was forced to buy another s710a.

Lockine operates out of a different warehouse than XBM. Lockline is not part of cingular, but just an insurance company that cingular has contracted to do it's bidding. I can;t guarantee what XBM still has, I just know what happened to me

if you do a XBM it should be the same if you do a lockline is now the w600i
