Sony Ericsson S710a
My fellow friends, I believe I have made the decision....
Yesterday, I added WorldConnect to my phone, b/c I'll be traveling out of the country within a few days....which will be at a wopping rate of $4.99 per minute for data and talkin(ouch! :cry🙂, so I won't be doing that much talking. However, I realized that the K700 came in handy, b/c where I'm going is 900/1800....
Now, the whole reason to get a S710 was primarily for 850 band when I travel South, but I had planned to use my K700 for everday use.
That would be a waste of a S710(the phone is way to cool), to only use when I travel South...so, I have to make some sacrifices.
I will trade in my K700, for the S700, b/c I need the 900 band, then I will have something close to S710, minus EDGE ☹️ ...and I will have to figure out what to get for...

I personally think your plan is a good one. It makes perfect sense. Sure, there's somethings you have to sacrifice, but in the end it may just be better that way.

Aww....you're not getting a S710! ☹️ But at least you can get the phone's cousin NOW and not have to wait. and wait. and wait for it to be released.

Yeah, I just feel like the S710 is to nice of a phone just to use for 850 band (Southern travel) use....although I could do it the other way around...use the 850 band...and just carry 900 band phone when I go overseas???

Yeah, that's true. Just get something simple for overseas and go all out over here with the S710a.

You'll be losing the blackness of the S710 and exchanging it for Silverness. Past that, I can't see any difference.

She's absolutely in love with it. She was never the type to buy cool gadgets and such, but she saw me looking at it once on here and something hit her, she fell in love with it, wanted it, got it, and she's very very happy and pleased with it.
