I just got an email detailing phone promotions that are up coming. It list the release date of 3 new phones. From Samsung, LG...and Sony.
The Sony Ericsson S710A is due for release on February 25th!

My God - I hope he's right. I just got the handset pricing sheet for Feb 13th to 28th & it still lists the s710 as not yet available for order (DANG!). This info isn't really contradictory though either. If the launch date is Feb 25th, then that is when it will be available for order (not necessarily in stores on that day - sorry to disappoint). If its ordered by stores on the 25th or so then it won't actually be IN stores unt...

Just called Cingular national sales line and they still have no info on the availability of this phone.

I'm holding back comment on this persons 'official release' since so many Cingular employees have said they got this e-mail or they know this guy or they heard through someone who knows someone who dated someones brother than worked on this phone and they said "It will be available on (insert desired date here)".

I agree and like I said before many times... I'll believe it when I see it. Not to call him a liar or anything, but like pyro said, "everyone" has had their concrete release date which as you can see, turned out to be pretty soggy.
