Amazon told me that they are out of stock on this phone and that they can't guarantee if they will ever get more of them. They said that the reason it's still on the site is so that the people who previously ordered it can take advantage of their rebate. As soon as the rebate expires they are going to remove it from the site. They did not say when the rebate will expire. 😢

😢 Very sad. but if someone bought this could they just go to attw/cingular and activate, even though they don't offer the fon in their store/web

You could if you could find one and if it was set up for cingular or if it was unlocked. I have not seen the s710a available anywhere. You could do that with the s700i but I think it would be smarter and cheaper to wait for Cingular to release the s710a.

This phone has not yet been released by Cingular....No one has it to sell.!!!!! Amazon was taking advance orders....ONLY !!! It has'nt been approved by the FCC yet !!!...They are in stock at Cingular, but, not for sale yet !!!
