"Please Use Genuine Battery"
Hey, my boyfriend has this phone, and the other day when we got home he tried to turn his phone on, and this BRIGHT blue screen came on and it said "use geniune battery" then counted down from ten to one, shut off, and repeated. We tried it with the charger on, and without it, reguardless it seemed screwed.
Our service provider (Telus) didn't help us, they said go to a store. Well it was a Sunday and like nine at night and no stores were open, so I called my work (which is Cingular) and they fixed it.
If this happens to any phone (apparently) you charge it for like 2 minutes, turn it off, and remove the battery for about two to four minutes, then charge it again for about an hour or so. I don't know why that works, but the phone is perfectly fine now.
I thought it was messed cause we were quading and it got a wee bit wet. lmao.
