Possible Release Date?
Ok, here's my take on this phone's release date. Based on the release of the Kyocera KX440/444, this month, I am taking an educated guess that the relase on the N330 will be in December 2005. Here's my thought. The KX440 was approved by the FCC in Jan 2004. That is 14 months!! The N330 was FCC approved in AUG 2004. Using the same fomula - we should see it in December. That sucks. Boy I hope I am wrong.

Some are shorter though, too. But yeah i hope its sooner than Dec. /sigh. Maybe it'll come out in the summer.
...
A betting man or woman would place their money on the end of March 2005 for the release of this phone ;).

Hope you are right. I think this phone is wicked. Im gonna pay full retail for this bad-boy, i dont care.

I am a betting man. I will take that bet. Name the price... đ
It won't happen by the end of March 2005.

I'm gonna throw out late summer. August to September. I would love to say April, as CNET reports, but based on Verizon past FCC approval to launch ratio, I am guessing late summer. It was approved AUG '04. So that would be about a year. Which is typical for Verizon. (history) âšī¸

For what it's worth, I just received April's issue of PC Mobile magazine and in this issue they review the Samsung-N330. I've been getting this magazine for about a year now and history shows that when they review a phone it's either already on the market or not for from it. I suspect that this phone will probably be release by end of March or the in 2nd quarter sometime. Just a hunch...I could be completely wrong.

Hey thats good to know - Seriously I hope you are right.

Did they have anything interesting to say about the phone in the review?
...
they gave it a mediocre rating of 2.5 stars out of 5. They liked the robust speakerphone but were not crazy about the small closely cropped keypad buttons. They did mention that this phone will sell for $99 to $129 (without service) seems like kind of a low price to me, but I think this was meant to be an inexpensive phone.
