I'm interested in getting this phone when my I'm up for my NE2 in a couple months. I was wondering how the voice commands work being that there is no speaker phone on this handset. I have a couple questions and any answers would be greatly appreciated:

If your contract is up in a couple of months, I would just wait for the A-970, from the specs it sounds like it will be a nice phone.

There is no guarantee that the a970 will even come out when my NE2 is up. I would first have to wait and see if the phone is easy to use and if its size is not too big. Another reason I would consider the a890 over the a970 would be the price. Hopefully the a890 will be down in price whereas the a970 will be expensive and I don't want to lay it out that much money when using my NE2 credit. Again, this is all inferring. Just cause the phone says 3rd quarter means nothing. I just have to wait until my NE2 kicks in. By the way, I answered my own questions about the Voice Commands while playing with the phone in the Verizon store.
