Yes, both the LG-VX-8000 and the audiovox 8940 both have speakerphone. I have the 8000 and the speakerphone is GREAT!!!!

From the pictures it sure looks like the a890 has a speaker phone. It also apears that the # key has a speaker on it....

Hi, I'm considering exchanging the 8940 for the 890 even though it has no speaker phone. The sd card disadvantage on the 8940 is ridiculous, can't do anything but download mp3's for a playlist only, not as ringtones. And the pics and vids you create on the phone itself can only be stored on the card as an added memory feature, you cannot transfer those files to the pc, nor can you transfer from the pc to card, files are locked, only mp3's , bummer. My main questions are , does the 890 play mp3 ringtones, how much memory does the phone have, and can you drag your own mp3's from the pc and have them as ringtones...also no pictur id on outside display on 8940, wallpapers are whack, seriously, like something out of halo 2. So anyone thinking abo...
