This camera SUCKS!
What's with the bluish tint in all my pictures? Also, how come when I take a picture, it comes out all faded looking? It doesn't look like that just before I take the picture. I had the a670 before this phone and the camera was awesome.

Maybe its your phone and it is defective.
Look at this shot I just got the 890 today and it is a cloudy day but I think not bad camera at all.

seriously,
the camera is the worst. if you take pix at full resolution you press the button and wait for 3 seconds. the flash makes the pictures so blurry you can't even make out a person's face. the quality is awful, who cares if it's 1.3 megapixels, they can make it 5 megapixels, this camera is still awful!

You can turn the flash off and the picture still comes out all faded looking. Also, what's with the bluish color in all the pics?

but after further playing with the phone
the camera software is slow....yes
it has a bluish tint...yes
HOWEVER
when you send the pix to e-mail they come out the best
and i have an interesting test for everyone to conduct
from the inside of say...your local verizon store...oro with your present camera phone...even take a digital camera for comparisono
from a fairly lighted room.....from across the room aim towoards the furthest window (while its sunny out)...all of the camera phones i've used...it gets the inside...but the windows are white out
with a digital camera...it shows the room..and it even shows what is outside
the samsung 890 will do the same
not as well as a 5 megapixel..but...
