looks like a v300 to me
i agree, but this phone is in actuality what the V300 should have been the first time around.
i like the dedicated hardware buttons for the camera and (i believe) web. i would prefer a hardware button for SMS messaging, but perhaps it can be remapped. this added design is probably (hopefully) in response to consumer feedback that it is a pain the ass when you accidentally select the camera or web (T-Zones, mMode, etc.) button and scramble to back out since it takes so damn long to load. (SonyEricsson could learn something from this...)
i'm not one to modify the hardware on a handset unless it is designed and intended, but i wouldn't mind having the V551 "faceshield" on my V300. but then why wouldn't i just buy the whole handset?

I am just happy with my e715 🤣 In my opinion it is a damn good overall phone🙂

to me, it seems like this is the replacement or successor to the v400!! the v400 was the american version of the v500 w/out blue-tooth. this would make a great replacement to the v400.

It is, pretty much, since it will be for the Americas. But also it has Bluetooth, which makes it more like the V500... Same difference. 😉
