What's this new icon on the phone?
I was curious as to what this icon I see appearing on my phone is.
Today, I had just picked up my phone and noticed the new icon. Right next to where the reception bars are in the top left corner, the icon just randomly appeared today. I've had the phone for a few months now but this icon has never showed up before. It's an "E" that's atop a green and red line. What is this icon and what the heck does it mean?
I looked it up in the manual and it's not in there. Unless I accidently pressed something on my phone, I'm pretty sure it just showed up there by itself.
Any help appreciated.

That E simply means that EDGE is available. Edge is meant for highspeed internet access on your phone. The other Icon that might display is two boxes with a line connecting them which is meant for GPRS which is a slower form of internet access.
