I got this phone.
My only question left, after messing around with it for the past day, is how do I set a tone for text messages? Is there anyway how?
Whenever I get a message, it just shows "Message Received" in this display but gives me no sound alert...which would be nice.
Some help please?

Settings / Ring Styles / Detail
Scroll down till you see Text Msgs. Select that and pick the noise you want to use on received messages.

Now maybe I'm missing something, but when I go under my settings icon, I have the following options:

Web Sessions
I actually don't have a choice for Ring Styles. Is the fact that I have a v551 impacting this?

It's there. Just called something else. Look under Audio.
I have the semi-latest software on the phone and Motorola must have called it something else in the new version.

it's not under audio 😢 i've been trying to figure it out for days now! and i cant find how to do it!

What you do is go under Audio in the main menu, scroll down to Loud (or what ever style you have it on) Detail, and press change. Then scroll down to txt Msgs:_____ press change and change it to whatever you want.
